Hakusan Porcelain was founded in 1779 in the town of Hasami, Nagasaki prefecture and has existed in its current form since 1958. Led by designer Masahiro Mori, Hakusan has been the leading porcelain producer in post-war Japan. Awarded such honors as the "Good Design" and "Long Life Design" prizes, Hakusan exemplifies the simple elegance of Japanese Design.
The Fancy Cup A-F were initially designed by Mori for the blind. Each cup has a different tactile feel that fits perfectly in the hand. Released in 1970, this is another example of Masahiro Mori's timeless pieces.
The thin light porcelain body is beautiful to look at and comfortable in your hands.
