Michael Afsa is an Arizona based artist who creates three-dimensional works inspired by the architecture and landscapes of the American Southwest. He uses common construction materials such as plywood, wall textures, and latex paint to create minimalist wall sculptures.
Michael earned his BFA from CalArts and is a Wasserman Foundation Grant Recipient. His work exhibits across the US and is in numerous private collections. He has collaborated with Google, and his work is in the collections of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Royal Caribbean International, and Ritz Carlton. He lives and works in Phoenix, AZ with his wife and three children.
